About Us

Introduction

Koreans have lived long as a single-ethnic nation and created a unique culture. This history has the characteristic of creating a strong bond among Koreans. In the 21st century, in an environment where the rate of inter-cultural marriage is significantly growing across the world and without effort to understand each other, it can act as a factor that creates a significant sense of alienation or even conflict between Koreans and new immigrants.

International Family Association (IFA) was launched to support the multi-cultural families to settle in Korean society peacefully and create a happy family. For this purpose, we promote the core principles, Living for the Sake of Others, to realize the ideal of a God-centered family which is the cornerstone for peace and happiness. Our efforts have shifted to global networking, scholarship projects, welfare, mutual aid, and regional and international volunteer services.
